FAQs

Please read our FAQs to find out more.

Is ECO Car Shampoo safe for ceramic coatings?

Yes. Its pH-balanced, salt-free formulation is designed for repeat use and will not aggressively strip ceramic coatings when used correctly.

Will it help reduce swirl marks?

While technique plays the primary role, the lubricating formula supports safer washing and helps reduce friction during contact cleaning.

How much shampoo should I use per wash?

Use 2-3 capfuls in a standard bucket of warm water (approximately 10-15 litres). Our concentrated formula creates rich suds, so a little goes a long way. One 500ml bottle provides approximately 40-50 washes.

Does it remove wax or sealant layers?

No. ECO Car Shampoo is formulated to clean without unnecessarily stripping existing protection.

Can I use this in a pressure washer or foam cannon?

Yes. It is compatible with manual washing and pressure washer systems when diluted properly. Use a higher concentration (approximately 1:10 ratio) for foam application. However, for the most economical use and best results, we recommend the two-bucket wash method.

Is this safe for all paint types and colours?

Absolutely! Our plant-based formula is safe for all paint types, including clear coat, single-stage paint, matte finishes, and all colours. It's also safe on chrome, glass, plastic trim, and rubber seals.

Does it work in hard water?

Yes! ECO Car Shampoo performs well in both hard and soft water conditions. It creates good suds and cleaning action regardless of your water type.

Will this remove heavy dirt and mud?

ECO Car Shampoo is excellent for regular maintenance washing and light to moderate dirt. For heavily soiled vehicles with thick mud or clay, we recommend pre-rinsing thoroughly with a pressure washer or hose first, then using our shampoo for the main wash.
